In the summer of 2010, Guilty Pleasures packed its bags for a month long holiday in the capital of Scotland for a sixteen date reign at the world famous Edinburgh Festival. For the first time, we took the razzle-dazzle and a little bit of that old pop magic to the festival and got the whole town dancing its socks off!
After a day of dashing from venue to venue across this fine city, swearing at tourists and getting soaked in the rain, the perfect place to party and dance the night away was with Guilty Pleasures at the glorious spiegeltent, Assembly @ Princes Street Gardens.
We gave them a non-stop, endorphin-releasing, hedonistic throw-your-hands-in-the-air musical celebration and proved to be the ONLY place to let your hair down at the Fringe 2010.
The line up for the four weekends of parties at our Edinburgh debut were the talents of:
Sean Rowley! Anna Greenwood! Father Oates! Hot Gusset!
Special guest performers joined us on stage, five star reviews were casually handed out and a love affair between us and the city and Festival began. We’re still smitten. Keep your eyes peeled for 2011 and our next step…
