Saturday’s sold out horror pop spectacle was packed to the KOKO rafters with goblins, ghouls and erm, sherbet dib-dabs.
All the photos of the goings on are up at ready for your eyes to look at in the gallery now.
Little ship of horrors
Yes, you can now look like a haggard ghoul at a discount price thanks to our good friends at Escapade fancy dress in Camden Town.
They sell three differently priced Beetlejuice costumes so maybe you can get the deluxe now. Wonder what makes it deluxe? Oh it gets a wig with it. That’s good. If you like it then you should have got a wig with it, as Beyonce didn’t sing.
Anyway, to claim said discount, choose your purchases on the site and use the code HORROR at the checkout and kerpow – 10% off your bill will be removed by magic. The offer is open to all GP Halloween revellers and is an online only offer, so why not take a whirl round their virtual aisles and get yourself a bargain but brilliant costume for the party.
The Guilty Pleasures photobooth is now open and ready for business.
If you had your picture taken in the booth at Saturday’s Bat out of Hell party at KOKO, then we’ve got a snap of you in your ghoulish get up online and available to buy!
Ideal for Christmas, if you want to distribute permanent reminders to your nearest and dearest of you looking part-dead. Some people are odd, so one imagines it could very well make the perfect gift.
Anyway, shops open!
Saturday’s stage fright delight
They’re all up in the gallery now, come and see. Were you there? Try and spot yourself amongst the blood, gore and God knows what else.
If you had your picture taken in the photobooth, then don’t worry, your chance in the spotlight will come soon. Watch this space!
It’s Halloween on Saturday in case you’re oblivious to the merchandising magic that’s being worked on the highstreet and on the telly en ce moment. Is everyone absolutely petrified and losing sleep for the scariest day of the year? Or just mildly troubled by the thought of youths throwing raw eggs at their windows every hour or so?
Well, either way, we’ve gone and done a little GP Halloween podcast, full of suitably themed pop numbers to get you doing the monster mash round your desk / living room / gymnasium or indeed wherever you choose to listen to these hear noises and words.
It’s free as well so we want nothing in return except your satisfaction and first born child. Not a big ask.
Download it here and give your ears a gift of pop horror!
