Were you at our 7th birthday bash last month at KOKO? Maybe you were one of the lucky few who performed on stage with Rockaoke and fulfilled those rock star dreams, less the chart success, groupies, massive amounts of drugs and general adoration. But you know, an idea of what the dream may be like.

As long as your stuff is singing and sassiness, then you may just appear as one of our super special Rockaoke stars on Saturday 24th September, where you can front the band. Plus the best singer on the night wins £100 cash! Wowzers!
As part of this month’s Seventh Birthday spectacular we have the fantastic Rockaoke joining us. Rockaoke is like karaoke on drugs. Not in a bad way that makes you throw up and pull a whitey. No, it’s the ultimate performance experience for wannabe popstars where you perform with a full backing band and fulfill that rockstar fantasy live on stage, rather than some wimpy instrumental tape to reedily sing over. So, we’re looking for the eight best performers to take to the stage that night and perform to the giddy Guilty Pleasures throng. Do you have the performance prowess to win over the crowd and nab that £100 prize? Here’s how to apply:

All you need to do is submit a video clip of you singing to a track. It doesn’t have to be a Meatloaf epic – a minute is all we need to spot star quality. Upload your clip onto our facebook page via youtube or email it to us at info@guiltypleasures.co.uk and a moment in the spotlight could be yours. Soloists, groups, duos all welcome. Dress up if you desire – make yourself stand out for selection to entertain the KOKO crowd.
All applicants applicants will be viewed by Guilty Pleasures’ very own Sean Rowley and Anna Greenwood will select the top eight who will to take to the stage on the night! It’s not a talent competition, it’s a FUN competition, so don’t hold back! Give it your all and unlike X Factor, no sob stories from applicants about dead Grans and lost cats will melt our black hearts – we want showmanship and nothing less so do your best to win us over!
