Guilty Pleasures X Factor Special

It’s true! It’s not a fabulous dream that we think is reality. It’s happening on our televisions, live this Saturday night – the X Factor Guilty Pleasures Special! SCREAM!

GP has the X Factor. OFFICIAL

After a love affair with the show that has lasted for years, our adoration is no longer unrequited. It’s the greatest honour any pop brand could wish for and in a stroke of modernity, they’re taking our name for the union. (Alright, it’s a trademark issue, but let’s not dull the flames of passion with lawyer talk). They could have done their own thing and had a Guilty Secrets show or something, but frankly that would be rubbish and only the real deal will do.

As you can imagine, we are fairly excited by this and in order to keep on an even keel and calm the RIDICULOUSLY BRILLIANT NEWS are typing this whilst under the influence of pretty strong sedatives we found at the back of the bathroom cabinet and regular glugs of cooking sherry.

The country’s biggest and best pop club – that’s us fans – is uniting with the country’s biggest light entertainment show EVER for the X Factor Guilty Pleasures special on Saturday 23rd October. There are many club brands and pop nights in the country, but none have been embraced so wholeheartedly as Guilty Pleasures as frankly, we’re all guilty. The telly types know this, as the biggest show on the box wants a slice of the GP action for their 15million viewers. 15 MILLION! Watching a Guilty Pleasures X Factor! JESUS CHRIST.

We will now add our name to a prestigious list of some of the biggest names in music who have been graced with an X Factor special, look:

Take That: had an X Factor special

Britney Spears: had an X Factor special

Queen: they had a X Factor special

Dead Michael Jackson: he’s had one too

And now Guilty Pleasures gets one. It’s ludicrously brilliant!

The records and bands we have championed for six years at Guilty Pleasures club nights throughout the world will be showing the cool kids just who’s boss in the country’s favourite TV show this Saturday night 23rd October live on ITV1.

What will their Guilty Pleasures be? Will Simon reveal his? (PLEASE) But most importantly, what will Wagner sing? We’ll have more news as and when we can and as long as there is sherry in the bottle and enough out of date valium in the first aid tin we shall be capable of bringing said news forth.
