Guilty Pleasures X Factor Special

Yes, the country’s biggest and best pop club – a “putative global phenomenon” so said the Guardian (quite right to) (oh, it’s us by the way) – had it’s head turned by our pop loving concept by bestowing us the greatest honour any pop loving brand could wish for: an X Factor Special.

We always knew we had it, but this made it official when the country’s biggest light entertainment show EVER wanted a piece of our action and we were only to happy to oblige. After all, some of the biggest names in music (and our own personal heroes) have had their own X-Factor special such as Queen, Take That, Wham!, Michael Jackson and Britney Spears and now Guilty Pleasures is added to the list! Preposterous but true!

It was true to any X Factor show: the judges argued; no one really stuck to the theme and the acts wore ridiculous clothes. 20 million people tuned in and the country asked each other just what their Guilty Pleasure was. We all have one after all.

Plus our very own Sean Rowley got to go on the telly to talk about it all when he cosied up to Connie Huq to proffer his pop knowledge on the Xtra Factor and dully erm, critiqued the acts.

Watch all the action here with the full show or check out Sean and some other telly types here instead and relive a moment in GP history!
